How do I book my ADVENTURE?
Click on the Rent ADVENTURE link to choose your date and time. Complete the order checkout to confirm your reservation. You will then receive an email with instructions for completing your Rental Agreement and Participant Agreements. We will need one completed Rental Agreement and an completed Participant Agreement for ALL participants - drivers and passengers. Please follow the instructions to complete these documents before your arrival to expedite the checkin process. Your cooperation with this part of the process will help us get you on your way sooner when you arrive to start your ADVENTURE. Hope to see you soon!
How long do I get to enjoy this ADVENTURE?
Our reservations are for 4 hour or 9 hour blocks of time which includes a brief safety training and introduction to the operation of the equipment. How much ADVENTURE are you ready for?
How old must I be to drive?
All drivers must be 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
Can I be a passenger?
Of course! All passengers must be tall enough to have their feet flat on the floor while sitting in the seat. In most cases this is at least 48" tall.
What do I wear?
We will provide you and your crew with stylish helmets to be worn during your ADVENTURE. This is an outdoor activity. Your travels will including riding on dirty, dusty roads and trails. That is part of the fun but we do suggest that you consider wearing eye wear and dust masks as needed. We recommend you dress according to the weather at the time of your ADVENTURE.
What if I have never operated or been on trails in an ATV before?
We recommend you complete the free ROHVA E-Course offered by the Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association (https://rohva.org). This two-hour E-Course is a free, multimedia, interactive online safety course available 24/7. Users can save their progress and stop the E-Course at any time and pick up later where they left off. At the end of the course you have the option to print a Certificate of Completion. Click https://cbt.rohva.org to begin your training to make your ADVENTURE more safe and enjoyable.
What should I know before riding an E-Bike?
All E-Bike riders should have previous experience with bicycle riding. Click here to find out important information about the Exalted Big Sur E-Bikes. Also, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (https://www.nhtsa.gov/road-safety/bicycle-safety) has lots of good information for bicycle safety.
What do I do when my ADVENTURE is over?
Return your ATV with a full tank of gas (pumps conveniently located on premise at the Eldorado Outpost) to the same location where you departed and we will prepare it for the next crew. How do I get to the trails?
Our equipment is road worthy and street legal. You will be able to leave our parking lot and drive on the highway 2 miles to the entrance of the Uwharrie National Forest OHV trails. That is where the ADVENTURE really begins!
Is there a damage deposit?
Yes, the credit card used for the reservation must have an a available balance of at least $2000.00 at the time the equipment is picked up. A hold amount of $2000.00 for the damage deposit will be applied to the card at that time. This hold amount will be released, provided the equipment is returned in satisfactory condition. It will release no more than 7 days after the equipment is returned
